On August 1, a joint press release was issued by Hyogo University of Teacher Education, Ritsumeikan University, Kanazawa University, Okayama University, University of Teacher Education Fukuoka, Tohoku University, University of Tsukuba and CSIS.

This initiative is the result of a joint research project conducted by the research group to which Professor Takashi Oguchi and Assistant Professor Kotaro Iizuka of our Center belong. The study has been published in the Journal of Disaster Research under the title “High-Definition Topographic Archiving and Educational Applications in Regions Affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.”

We sincerely hope for the swift recovery of the affected areas.

8月1日、兵庫教育大学、立命館大学、金沢大学、岡山大学、福岡教育大学、東北大学、筑波大学、当センターの共同プレスリリース”令和6年能登半島地震で変化した地形の高精細3Dデータを公開―災害・地形の基礎研究や環境教育・防災教育の教材として活用可能―”が発表されました。この取り組みは、当センターの小口高教授と飯塚浩太郎助教の所属する研究グループでの共同研究の成果であり、”High-Definition Topographic Archiving and Educational Applications in Regions Affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake”としてJornal of Disaster Researchに掲載されました。
